Imota Council Boss Commemorates One Year In Office Anniversary With Educational Support Schemes, Research Grant

In Commemoration of his first year in office as the Executive Chairman of Imota Local Council Development Area (LCDA, Hon. Benson Sunday Ayodele, has announced the commencement of applications for the Administration’s Free GCE Forms, Bursary Awards, Scholarship, and Grants Scheme.

‎The Media & Publicity Engagement Office, Imota LCDA, in a statement today, announced that applications are now opened to interested candidates to apply for Free GCE Forms; Bursary Awards for undergraduates in recognised tertiary institutions and Scholarships for undergraduate students with a minimum CGPA of 3.60.

‎The Council authorities also called for application for Scholarships for Master’s (M.Sc) students and Research Grants for five (5) Ph.D students.

‎This educational support initiative is designed to promote academic excellence, ease the financial burden on students and parents, and provide deserving students with opportunities to pursue their educational aspirations.

‎Interested candidates are enjoined to visit the Imota LCDA Secretariat for application.

‎”Interested applicants are advised to visit the Education Department, Imota LCDA Secretariat, with a valid means of identification and relevant academic credentials to complete the application process.”

‎The council also warned that the application for any of the scheme is free and interested applicants should not fall prey to any unauthorised agent.

‎”Please note that application is FREE. Applicants are strongly advised not to pay any individual or group for the application, as the Council has not authorised any agent to collect money on its behalf.

‎”Eligible students are encouraged to apply immediately to avoid missing this valuable opportunity.

‎”Through this initiative, the BSA-BOJ administration continues to demonstrate its unwavering commitment to investing in education, empowering the youth, and building a brighter future for the people of Imota.”
